DE | Schon lange habe ich das Gefühl, dass mein Blogname nicht mehr zu den Inhalten meines Blogs passt. 2011 habe ich meinen Blog gegründet. Damals wollte ich einen Namen, der direkt mit Mode in Verbindung gebracht wird und nicht mit mir. In den letzten vier Jahren hat sich aber einiges geändert. Mittlerweile findet ihr nicht mehr nur Mode hier, sondern auch vieles über das Blogger Business an sich und vor allen Dingen über CrossFit bzw. Fitness. Der Name Fashionjudy wird dem nicht mehr gerecht. Judy ist übrigens ein englisches Wort für Schneiderpuppe, weshalb ich es damals sehr passend fand.
Und hiermit stelle ich auch denselben Blog, aber mit neuem Namen vor: Tamina Jay. Inhaltlich habe ich nichts geändert. Alle Emails und alle URLs von Fashionjudy werden jetzt automatisch an Tamina Jay weitergeleitet. Den neuen Namen habe ich gewählt, da a) Tamina mein Vorname ist und b) Jay eigentlich J ist und für meinen zweiten Namen Jasmin steht. Somit kann ich meinen Blog um CrossFit erweitern und bin nicht mehr nur auf Mode begrenzt.
Um diesen Post noch ein bisschen ansehnlicher zu gestalten, habe ich euch ein paar alte Fotos rausgesucht. Lustig, wie mein allererster Outfitpost aussah, nicht wahr?
EN | For a longer period, I’ve been doubting about my blog name since it doesn’t fit to the content of the blog anymore and might be misleading. In 2011 I started Fashionjudy. I was looking for a name that is connected to fashion and not with me. In the last 4 years lots of changes have happened here regarding the design, the content and myself. By now you can find blog posts about fashion, blogger business as well as CrossFit, so Fashionjudy barely keeps up with that and misleads my readers I believe.
So today I’m introducing you to the same blog but with a new name: Tamina Jay. The content, author and design remains the same but the name is new and more suitable. All emails and URLs of Fashionjudy are redirected to Tamina Jay from now on.
I’ve chosen Tamina Jay because a) Tamina is my first name and b) Jay is actually simply J and stands for my second name Jasmin. This way I can expand my blog by CrossFit and am no longer limited to fashion, even though it remains the most essential part of this blog.
And in order to make this post a little more entertaining, I’ve gathered outfit pictures from the beginning until now. Funny to see the very first outfit post of this blog, isn’t it?
